Help a QLD brother out? Need to sus out a car...

Post by BorepYano »

Hey guys,

I'm looking at possibly buying a car (still not another FTO).... but it's in SA, and since I'm in QLD... inspecting the car will be a bit of a problem.

So I was wondering if anyone mechanically minded would be kind enough to go have a look, take some photos, go for a test drive for me? Not telling you what it is yet, kind of trying to keep it under wraps at the moment (in case it doesn't pan out), but you won't regret it. Oh, and also you need a manual license.

Can offer some beer money, and more beers if you make it to the 2014 bonfire.

Cheers.

I'll let you guys know where it is when I find out.

Kiz.... it's not turbo'ed, but it's also not P plate approved in SA :(
But I guess if it comes down to it, it would still be nice for someone to have a look at it take photos than not at all.

so the car is in Encounter Bay.... but might be in Adelaide CBD Thurs or Fri (presumably next week)

Just googled where you live Phil.... damn you, why can't you live in a more convenient place for me lol

Kiz, or anyone else?

I'm getting some high def photos from the guy for the paintwork and interior, so I'll know roughly what to expect. But if anyone is able to go for me, will be good to take some more photos of the paint and interior, and most importantly... underbody... need to look for signs of damage and repair. ...if it helps, it's not a big car? lol

you've got PM with the car details.

I've also PM'ed the details and contact details for the seller to Kiz. Since I don't know what your schedules are like and where you're all located, who out of you two would it be easier to have a look at this for me?

a bit of a big ask, but you reckon you two can work it out between yourselves? (probably a little depends on the seller's availability i guess)

Edit, wait, you have your open license right? (and manual?)
