DIY/DIT day.

Post by okamitengu »

VIPFTO kiz and I have been discussing one saturday afternoon getting together for a diy.
most likley just a shoot the sh*t day, but I need to install a heater core and new alarm/car starter/central locking

so we have determined for kiz and I a saturday afternoon would be best.

i imagine if we did it late, like 1-2 or 3 it may be ok for others too.

i need to organise fairly soon, so jump on it!

what time would suit you and what date in the next 4 weeks?

I have to drop Sue and Steven @ Adelaide airport for their trip to Sydney on Sat 12/7.
If you have it then I should be able to drop in.

EDIT: I will be hopefully in the Galant, and I mean hopefully.

Any chance of organising a window tint job for the Galant for this day Tim?
After I drop the family at the airport and before the DIY meet.

Will know a bit closer if the Galant is ready, but I expect it will be.

I could do it either day, but Saturday would be prefered.
Sue and Steven are flying out at 10am, so after that.
Friday we are going into Adelaide city shopping, it might wreck our plans if we have to hang around a tint shop for half a day.

I could drop them at the airport at 8:30am at the earliest, if that would help.

Late to the party, but it's not a Saturday I'll be working so I'll probably be along.

It's not particularly well worded, but I blame morning.

Probably would have been better and lengthier phrased as. "I work every second Saturday, and coincidentally the date for this event falls upon a Saturday in a week where I will not work. Chances are I will attend said event." Happy?
