High beam bulb size

Hey what the bulb size for the high beams? I've been looking throught the net its been saying 9005/hb3 bulds fit but they dont and then i tried 9006/hb4 they fit but it doesnt fit in the socket properly, so i just need a confirmation

You need to modify the housing to fit in the 9006 housing.

But what's the right size for the high beams so I don't have to modify it? I'm sure if I just got the right size it's just plug and play

You can't buy one to suit. Just get a pair of side cutters and cut away that's what I use to do.

okay both hb3/9005 and hb4/9006 theres always something that wont fit, with the hb3, the stock socket wont fit the hid socket and with the hb4 the sockets fit but the light doesnt fit the housing.
