And I kind of find the name a bit tarted.
It in no way has any relation to the old times except for FR layout.

I dare say more Supra than Sprinter...
It's not far in style from an AE111, but you hardly would call that an '86'.

Ehh.
Toyota (Toyota 86 in Japan and Australia[1] and Toyota GT-86 in Europe), Subaru (Subaru BRZ) and Scion (Scion FR-S). "86" (pronounced "eight-six" or Hachi-Roku (ハチロク)) refers to the Toyota AE86, a car sold in the 1980s. As such, the Toyota 86 has been named as the spiritual successor of the original AE86 during the press release of the 86.
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

I don't mind the rear, I'm at odds with the headlights, particularly the long bits. And I'm not sure about the indent-y 'you' shape on the bonnet. Still, looks nice.

Also, GTS (I think) is more like 35,000, but still cheap.

Also also, forum is correcting capital you to 'you'. Wtf?

Alsoalsoalso, just any singular letter... c'mon, it's not just a 'gen y' abbreviation for 'you'.
Not sure if typing the letter after "T" or the word referring to the second person :?

Okuyama have released their line up of parts today and include everything but major internal engine work. Seriously everything from cf diffusers to strut braces to roll cages. Only thing that's missing is HKS' patented line up of a bolt on turbo kit and forged internals. Why couldn't our market be this good back in the day :(

coz fwd have limited potential? hence they don't bother to do anything serious on it.
and the market was so small being an exclusive JDM that only ever distributed in Japan itself.

Personally I'd prefer the concept version, FT86 G Sports.

Nope, the car should have just been styled directly off the Scion FR-S Concept from last year:

Tbh i think all 3 cars look good (2 concepts shown this page and the actual car) - not a big fan of the 86 rear at first but its growing on me and im really starting to dig it.

For some reason i look at that car and see bits off all kinds of cars, GTR front, viper bonnet style, lambo styling lmao
but yes, that does rape it all, wtf is it? doubt that will even go into production - just seems way to f**king awesome to be a production car!
