The Luckiest Number
Figured its about time i started a ride diary for my car to keep a track of whats been happening.
its a 1997 GX Sport which I bought in march from member here 'Rambo' who was the first owner in AUS after my previous cars gearbox gave way and have just been trying to enhance the cars already great looks since.
As it sits the modifications to the car are:
- Veilside Skirts
- Veilside Wing
- 25% tint (from memory)
- Unknown brand lowered Springs (came on car from japan)
- XXR 527 17x8.25 +35
- Aftermarket rear muffler and chrome twin exhaust tip
- Full sound system (put in by Rambo) Kicker speakers, pioneer headunit, MTX subs and kicker amps
- HID's I think around 6000K
- Apexi RSM (just a novelty really)
and a few more detailed photos.
Interior
Boot
Painted wipers and scuttle
wheel/skirt

I agree that it needs smoked repeaters though

Re: The Luckiest Number
Looking through old photos I found a picture of the car in its most original state!
its a very 'love it or hate it' look.

How bout that, a cracked Kaze bar. Do they come any other way? lol
If they do, then they'd be rarer than a WRX with its original ride height.

Re: The Luckiest Number
So I finally got around to replacing the stock intake snorkel with a more direct pipe for better airflow into the air box!
I bought this intake kit from Repco for $30
My solution to not having jack stands
Front off!
old intake pipe out.
New intake pipe in from underneath
view from front without bar on
and final look with the bar on
I am yet to take the car out for a proper drive so no review yet. but im sure it cant be a bad change? right??
