Enough space for the wheel? Spacers?

Post by shadowarrior »

Picked up the 17 inch ROH Adrenalin Shadow Chromes from Toby yesterday and put them on the car. With full lock they have enough space to just wedge my fingers between the tyre and car's body around the inner well at the front of the car. Wouldn't that touch the top inner well when the wheel bounces around? Couldn't hear any scrub when taking turns at full lock.

Was thinking of putting spacers to bring the wheel's curve a little bit out of the car's body line... Should I go slip on spacers or bolt ons? Is the hub and suspension wear really that bad after putting spacers on?

That makes it unroadworthy doesn't it? Don't want to make it unroadworthy.

Whereas spacers are arguably more illegal, haha.

FML! If done properly, they are perfectly safe! Never knew they were illegal...damn!!
Couldn't have a staggered look..now can't have spacers....FML indeed! :(
