Pod Filters
Hey all,
So I've been looking at quite a few pod filters and I'm not quite sure which would be the most ideal for the FTO. I'm already having space issues with the size of my current K&N one so I was looking for something smaller, and the HKS mushroom pod seemed quite appealing... However, they're pretty expensive for what they are.
Does anybody have any suggestions for which brands or models are ideal for an NA FTO, putting the greatest air flow VS price ratio into consideration? I would love to justify spending the money on a HKS pod, but may need some persuasion to do so... Didn't see any existing threads specifically for pod filters so here we go
Cheers guys!

Re: Pod Filters
Tbh you're not going to feel any difference in power just in the induction noise... Hks has a really nice induction sound but yeah I wouldn't have bought one just for that if it wasn't on my car already...
A good clean filter is plenty no matter the brand lol

Re: Pod Filters
I have an APEXi pod on ARC pipe. Don't think it gives any power but gives awesome mivec sound compared to my ARC box.
I fix cars.

Make this Jack. Doesn't matter 2 nobs of goat sh*t what pod you use.
This was prior to using the blue flex pipe, but you get the layout idea.

Re: Pod Filters
This is perfect, MAF relocation and all - exactly what I was planning to do. Now that the pod issue's sorted - PIPING. Would stainless intercooler piping do the same job or must it be silicone? Purely cosmetic purposes..

Silicone looks better in my opinion and is better at deflecting heat than metal

You'll also need a MAF adaptor plate with 3" outlet. Also available on Ebay.
