Post by Cassar2610 »

I have reached that sage in life where I can no longer give my FTO the love it needs so it is time to find it a new home.

95 GPX Silver FTO Located In Melbourne Victoria
Non-Standard doodads:
HKS Exhaust
Mushroom(?) Air Filter (I cant remember what it's called, see pics, if it looks like rust in there it was, had an issue but it is fixed now)
Rally Art suspension
Custom Dials on Cluster
HID headlights 4000K (I think, the white ones anyway)
Clear side repeaters

Now for the Bad:
Speakers sh*t and probably blown
Taco has stopped working
Some body dents and scratches

It is approaching 235,000 KMs, Last major service done at 200,000.

Looking for around $2000.00 negotiable, no trades. I have the old standard air box as well, No RWC, rego till October.
Best way to contact me is mob: 0413 280 669, Name is Stephen.

*Edit: Practically gave it away as needed the space and was tired of seeing it just sitting there. It has been fun

Unfortunately, you are right. I am getting a lot of interest from young people. Often these people do not read the ad that I am not including a RWC. Also, as per the Victorian law, any car not being sold with a RWC must be unregistered at the time of sale or the seller can will be fined. I have explained this a lot to people and it turns them right off, I have even had to explain it in my add on car sales now :(

I have sold 2 cars without RWC w/rego and all my mates do the same, never heard of anyone being fined.

I even had a mate who sold his car with reg, new owners went on a rampage and racked up a heap of fines, showed proof of sale and all was good.

No RWC really makes things hard. RWC is the biggest scam in VIC... Mechanics use it as a free ticket to make a bunch of money as they know people need the cars ASAP and likely don't have time to fix things themselves.
