ye good point i know this debate has been out since both cars were realised but its just interested to know how the cars are so similar in speed and power while one being a 1.8l 4cyl and another 2.0 6cyl.

just out of curiousity, doesnt the integra weigh less?

well i think its the new type Rs (2000 onwards?), they have really done a number on the car to make it lighter, i.e. less noise reduction stuff, air con is not a standard (they say its for weight reduction, but i'm sure its just to make an extra $1k on the price), basically they did whatever they could to cut the weight of the car...

may have a little bit to do with that?

4th loser comming up :D
BorepYano wrote:just out of curiousity, doesnt the integra weigh less?
integra weighs heaps less
well thought out gear ratios
ya typical late model honda engine technology for thrashing
better weight distribution
fto has torque and longer gear ratios and more weight and a engine you cant thrash around as much in high revs (compared to a honda), but slick styling and climate control, etc, and similar performance
