EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST AUTOSALON SEASON 2007

Post by sxcfto »

Hi Everyone,
Ahhhhhh yes it's that time of the year again when everyone starts mapping out the events for 2007 !

As you know as a team member of Evolve we took out Club of the Year 2006...

I would really love to see the FTO club, be club of the year for 2007 or at the very least give it a shot !

Im asking all of you with a genuine interest in doing Autosalon this year to put in an expression of interest and see if we can get people involved in doing the Melbourne season or even a nation wide pull of fto groups to do all shows in every state.... it would be so unexpected and I know if we really pull together we can do this !

For anyone who hasnt yet experienced what Autosalon is about ... it's a great weekend where the group get together .. show off our cars stand together as a club and let the public know about us and even gain more members....

so with all that said it's now up to you !

First show is in Melbourne 31st of March - 1st of April 2007

Hopefully 2007 FTO AUSTRALIA will be Autosalon CLUB OF THE YEAR !

I'm down as long as we get enough cars to fulfil the club requirement. I do not wish to enter autosalon as an individual.

I will be down. Even if my Wife enters the car as I might be with SAU.

Good diea to start this early. We will take the money well in advance to help stop the fakers and see if we can get say 10 cars. I think we should have about 7-8 for sure.

I will get us a special detailing deal from my mates in down the road which would suit a few of us and shine those cars up fine.

Apart form the F1 Grand PrixP Autosalon in March - which I have already entered with SAU, when is the next one for Melb? $90 for a 4 days pass...was a damn good deal...good parking inside also :P

OK put me down as a YES, but like Joel said "I'm down as long as we get enough cars to fulfil the club requirement. I do not wish to enter autosalon as an individual."

can someone give a costing?

per person $?
as a club $?

And lets decide soon on a theme, we need to get some stuff ready. Any ideas on a theme?

I might be in as well as a group only.

27th march is my birthday, seeing so close, why dont we chose the theme as;
Max's birthday party 8)

Well the cost will depend on the labour and parts of the AWD drivetrain and either the 4G63 or 6A13 engine plus the cost of respraying the body.

Does that help Tarks?

maybe I am wrong and this is a thread about flying to the moon,
