I've got electrical issues atm to top it off... thought it was stereo incorrectly wired up... but I've had it disconnected for a week and battery is going flat. New battery... alternator is fine... my car alarm is working oddly though... randomly going off... even when driving sometimes... might get someone to remove it till I can get a new one :S

They hard to remove?

I'd remove it myself if I had half a clue how they worked :P

The key doesn't stop the alarm, it just lowers the vollume so you don't get the shock of your life when tinkering with the engine :D

At least with this alarm, not sure what it is exactly.

I presume it's got an imobiliser as well :S

I might try just pulling the power haha and seeing what happens :D I imagine it wont be very happy ... probably imobilise the engine... will soon see o_0

Car's now at Audio Express, mate from boost cruising reccomended him to me. Amusingly when I rocked up he admitted he's worked on it before - seems like a nice enough guy.

As soon as he looked at my car keys he muttered something about "brant" alarm systems. I'm pretty inclined to agree with him at the moment. Could just be something simple though... hopefully I don't have to get it removed. :D

With a little luck my few electrical issues will be sorted by this afternoon... if you're out cruising next weekend let me know (full weekend up coast this weekend)... I've missed random drives ... such a PITA to have to jump start everywhere, not to mention embarrasing :D

Alright... will organise a "B0rep gets his liscence back" cruise...

Simon... he has been very inactive ever since recieving a one week ban...

I still keep in contact with him, though he says he's been too busy to come on the forums... i think he's just abit cut about the ban.. pity, cause he was a nice guy...

Will try and get him to come to another cruise... maybe get him back into the spirit of things...
