I very much doubt any of these would be street legal.
Police don't like any lights extra to factory.
I had an argument with regency park over driving lights on my Escort, normal everyday driving lights.
Difference is coloured ones would attract a lot more attention from them.

Another question, how bright are they ?

Can you see them when your normal lights are on ? Cos if you cant, and they are hooked up with your parkers, then they will only be visible when your car is stationary (unless you like driving around at night with just parkers on). Less likely to get pulled over if your parked LOL. Besides, with a decent install job, most coppers probably wouldnt know if they were aftermarket or not. Not like were driving a dime a dozen Skyline here...

It's a similar effect with the beamers. From a distance you don't notice them as much. Get up closer and you can see them. Most noticeable will be the ring where the high beams are. When you see that you'll notice the other one more. But they do look great with just parkers on if your game... Colours will stand out even more at a distance, hence not very fuzz-friendly.

That's the way I think. Same sorta deal with my HID. Had em for months now, driven around plenty of police with no problems. They're 8000k, quite blue in colour, so they do stand out. Advantages of driving an uncommon car ahead of it's time in styling

$60 is fine.

I'm so 50/50 over colour... argh

I want blue wired up to my foggies as I never use them and blue would go with the rest of the car... but I want to be able to use em occaisionally... hrmm white.

TBD on colour.

Still interested though.

Will muse it and get back to you...

if you guys really want i can see if i can mix and match the colours, i.e. in one set i'll have 2xsmall blues and 2xlarge white... or something like that, so u guys can hook 1 white pair up to work with parkers and blue pair to a switch. or something like that. or if i can't mix and match them, then you can always come to an agreement between the 2 of you as to if u want to mix and match out of your 2 sets.

oh and just tidying things up :)

thats one reason why i've tried so hard to take this thing over, figured if i end up being the one ordering i can change my mind over and over again lol

well i dont think the white will look too out of place (i thought about it as well, cos i got the 8000K HIDs as well :D), i donno, i'll show u guys when i get the samples i guess.

Hmmm, interesting... White for around the Highbeam light, and Blue for around the lowbeam light... Definite potential...

Viewing the samples would be a definite plus.

I'd like to see 'em in the flesh if possible before going one way or the other... would have been cool if some samples were coloured.

Red or yellow would look oh so hot but definitely not in theme...

well if u really really want to u can dirve down to southside of brisbane and i'll show you them when they arrive. lol

otherwise i'll just make sure i take heaps of photos (life size photos if you want lol) when i get the samples (hopefully within a couple of weeks... 3-5days for the manufaturer to send them to the office in china, then however long for it to get here, 10days maybe)

and as for coloured ones i thought about it, but i didnt want to push my luck with it.

and as for numbers, i guess if we can get say... 15 together then i can probably justify ordering 25sets and just have 10sets (mind you that's like... $500 :( lol) sitting here collecting dust till someone else want them (of course then the price will be a little bit higher than the GB, just to justify me puttnig $500 on the line)

oh and if anyone's interested remember we can get the rings in different sizes which means they will work for other projector headlights, but they'll have to measure it themselves and take the risk of it not fitting cos they screwed up on the measurments lol
...hell i'm pretty sure i saw pics of a facelift model with angel eyes on the foggies and indicators.

hmm... i was going to say that it's just because the forum doesnt like you, but now i tried, it also wont load for me. so there must be something horribly wrong lol

basically all that's been said so far about this is:

CCFL rings to make angel eyes for the fto, i'm going to use my company (cos we have an office in china) to order them if we can get a few more numbers up. ther are probably going to end up at about... $50/$60 per set (4 lights) + postage from brisbane.

u can have a look at some info here: http://www.eefl.cn/ccflring.htm

although there's not a whole lot of info.

i've already ordered a FREE sample (go the office chicks in china :D), so they r probably somewhere in transit..

when i get them i'll have to test them for size, but it shoudl be ok, then i'll write up a DIY post photos etc... hopefully the DIY and photos will get enough numbers up, and then confirm numbers. collect deposits... place the order, pay deposit to the company, then when it arrives and all the taxes etc are all done, i'll be the "buyer", buy from my company. then ppl pay the balance on their lights to me, then i post them out.

to up the numbers, TCGPX suggested that we see if the guys in the UK want any (if they do i'll split the shipment in china, saves them having to pay postage twice). and i also sugested that to get the numbers up we can also order for other cars that have projector headlights, as long as they can give us the measurments we can probably get them)

man, thats an essey and a half lol.

I got an email from the manufacture on thursday night, the samples are made (apparently they had to make them...), so hopefully the office in china have them now, which means probably another 10days till i get them.

will keep u guys posted :) (parents are getting pretty pissed off with me leaving my car parts everywhere, so as soon as i get the samples i'll put them in... now i think about it, i think i left part of my head light in the oven for a week or so now lol)
