EOI: Dyno day for all....

Post by FtoSam »

Okay, thinking of asking my tuner if he'd like to host a dyno day... well prob like a dyno morning or something... in know a lot of people would love to get a read out...
He has a DynoDynamic 2wd Dyno.
day would be open to any FWD car... Prefer to keep to mitsubishis (FTO, Lancer, Mirage, etc.)
I would estimate costs to eb around $50-60 or so...
No prizes or crap like that.
What do you think?
He is at spring wood and im sure he wouldnt mind a little free publicity or something... Will talk to him about it on wednesday when i see him.

lol good to know i'm not the only soft one here hahah

yeah i dont see much point in dyno for me since mine's completely stock (and the only thing i'll be able to find out is how disappointed i will be once i find out just how much power my engine has lost since new lol)

of cos that doesnt mean i wont go, considering that it's like 10/15mins down the road from me lol.

...maybe talk to your tuner about an AWD convertion eh? lol

Lol. Its still good to know what your putting out... (hey your mum should come borepyano) lol...

AWD conversion? I think not... bit extreme for me.. too much $$ and loss of car for long time.

It was me, I voted soft first

I really don't care what the engines doing TBH. I've had enough run ins with the law for the moment thanks. As soon as I got my gixxer it was all over...

I want my car to go as slow as a toyota 4runner  I don't have points to burn.

You could point out that I could do track days but yeah I'm really just not interested at the moment.

I'm quietly jealous but methinks I'll keep my engine stocko for quite some time 8O I'm most interested to see if your car will have to be pushed onto the dyno or not though sam :D

I might be up for it, depending on the price .. i would rather spend 100-150 and get my car checked out on the dyno for any problems with my engine, or transmission & get a diagnosis, would your guy be able to do that or would it only be to get a little chart printed out?

Well since im changing workshops, I'll wait for them to work on my car first... the new place specialises in EVOs so they should know there way round mitsu's.
I'd imagine they could check out your car and possibly tune it if anyone has a chip (chelly) or a SAFC.

Ah, cool... whats the name of the place you're taking your car to? I've been going to take mine to a place in the Gabba .. Brisbane Tuning & Turbo Centre
http://www.yellowpages.com.au/onlineSol ... 173f&st=cs
They seem alright, hoping that they can fix my Engine Probs, my car has never revved past the 6k mark since I've had it, possibly a sensor or wiring problem... Going to get my AFC Controller installed and tuned at the same time...
