Big thanks to James (Maggsy) for helpin me out...

Got a call from Rick at 8pm last night...

Needed the intake and exhaust manifolds...

Eeep!!

Couldnt get outta work the next day, so dropped two boxes of car parts down the gold coast to james's place...

He then took them to Ricks this morning (i hope), so everything is still on-track....

Thanks james... REALLY appreciate it...

they got there bright and early in the morning, so early in fact that they weren't even there yet

i went back in the afternoon when i finished work just to make sure they got them alright and everything was still there.

all is good. 8)

lol... getting it towed to brisbane wont be cheap... then i'll have to get it towed back again...

but i'll try work something out...

might have it back but not run in... which just means cancelling dyno run...

Righto guys...

Its crunch time...

Im Out....

The only way for this to happen for me is to rush the mechanic, rush the tuning, rush everything.... and after spending almost $20k on this engine, i dont want to throw it down the toilet just for a 2 day show...

So sorry guys... I will still be there on friday, saturday and sunday, but i am pulling my car out... I just dont want to risk anything...

Im about to get on the phone to Rick now and tell him to settle down and take his time... Do it once... Do it right...

Looks like i'll have to do it next year instead...

All good man ... you're definitely right though, 'tis not worth it for a car show ... we're gonna be the the only ones there who will give a sh*t if you blow your engine on the dyno ... everyone else will just be laughin' ...

We so have to put together a track day when its done though!

On this front I'm not working at the moment, so if someone doesn't mind letting me crash on the floor at theirs I can help out with whatever.

1. Friday who is comming to set up @ 3pm with me?
2. Can we have our own material underneath our cars?
3. Does everyone remember what they are bringing???
4. Does everyone need help getting anything finished for AS?

next thing is.. ill be bringing A sh*t load of cleaning products for the cars!!! everyone just incase bring your own stuff as well because your going to need to clean your cars everyday to keep that shine ;) well i will be anywho.

1. i don't finish work until 3 and then i have to drive up to brisbane which takes about an hour. so i should be there about 4 - 4.30
2. what material is this and what's it for, any special colour or size or anything?
3. what else is there to bring other than cleaning products?
4. no, but thanks anyway. :D

well remember to bring drinks as well as cleaning gear because unless ulike paying $5.00 for a can of drink or a bottle.. you will be thirsty :P

and no worries! by the time you get to BCC the flooring etc should be down, i suspect Ben will be meeting me there @ 3:00. From memory Simon you were going to aswell?

If Im not there at 3, I wont be too far behind. If we are 7 cars, chances are they will give us a straight line section one car wide or have us along a wall. Which is good, cause I've got a length of the black under car fabric cut to 7 car stand size :)
