I just picked up my FTO pocket rocket

Post by aza013 »

Hi there to all.
My name is Aaron and I just picked up my fto its a 97 GP version R 2 1/2 weeks ago.
Its a big step up from a pulsar
I have been looking around the site and love all the info every one gives so it will be great for me as I dont know much about the FTOs and would love to know more and also get involved in the cruses that you have.
The car just came over from japan with 46000km on the clock and already I have put 3000 onto that as I con not stop driving it.
I just love it :D .

Thank Sublime19
I think it was a good pickup I just wonder if the kms have been turned back or if they are right.
Ither way its a great car and the power s*** it gets up and goes
I had it checked over and the left drive sharft needs replacing due to first owner hitting a gutter, apart from that nothing rong with it made me very happy.

if your curious abt it, then just give State Roads a call (like nrma, but better!)
02 98721994

give u a full report on the car, they do a complete 2hr checkup and give u all details abt all parts and what might need repairing etc in the future, altho this is more for when your buying the car, but since u already have it, no real point of getting a checkup now
:P btw costs abt $189.

Anyway, cruises - check the NSW section. Remember only to respond to official cruises which will be posted by either Bennoz, AJ or Kazbah (not oliver  )

Hope we see you around at a cruise, if not, then burn in hell!! lol jkz

thanks oliver :D
All I can say is I love it, the look of it from side on at the front looks like a corvet. But the FTO turns a lot better than the vets  at speeds.
I can not wait for the 22nd to get out on that drive
I should have the windows tinted by then too :D
