Hope that the damage isn't gonna cost too much to fix I agree with Simon though, the mechanic should be held accountable for all their fuckups .. You're paying for a service, and by law, they have to deliver the service you've paid for .. if they've screwed up, that's on them .. shifting the blame just isn't gonna cut it
not to mention.. they shouldn't have told you that its okay to drive if there was potential for problems like that..
I took the car in on wednesday morning to the tuners...
He was busy wednesday and thursday playing catchup on another car...
He's spending most of today on it.\
Depending on the obvious variables, hoping to get it back either tonight or tomorow... but could well end up being next week...
Will post up power figures as soon as i know...
Bit worried on how much boost the turbo will handle... Definately needs a turbo upgrade... So not expecting huge figures just yet... 200kw atw with a good power curve would be great... Turbo upgrade would be to double that... but thats not till next year...

it's pretty ridiculous when you have to work for a week just to pay a day or two of the workshops labour .. especially when they're charging you $100 an hour & paying the apprentice who's doing all the work $10.50 an hour

I would check the plug before and fancy "testing" if the gap is too big the spark is probbaly being blown out at full boost...you need some colder and closer gapped plugs...
