Getting car serviced

Post by Supplanter »

I am going to get a 10,000km service, so I checked a couple of places in my local area (Outer East) for a quote...

Kamikaze: I went there when looking for an FTO last year, they were friendly and seemed honest and proffessional...
They quoted me $165 plus parts.

Racing Zone: Their quote was $400 including parts, and they said they use Motul oil, whioch has been recommended on the forums previously.

I have chosen to go with Kamikaze, I'll let you all know how it goes.
LED ALL the things.

kamikaze in ringwood?
the guy there is nice enough, but the couple of FTOs i drove there were pretty rank. Very rattley and that put me off.

Did you call hypertech in vermont?

whatever u do get firm quotes before any work is done, dont make my mistake!

hey,
yeh he called me 8am the next day - which i admit impressed me.
He went through everything and I guess at the end of the day he had an answer for everything, and was apologetic for any confusion but if i use them again i will definaltey get quote written down as FINAL.
My car is running well though which is some consolation and i got cheap insurance that week which saved some $$
