BOM report is that it should be fine. Nice and cold, perfect for runs!

Everyone whose driving make sure you have your rego papers, take out all the loose / unwanted crap out of your cars.
I'll try and bring my tyre pressure gauge if you want to let some air out (greater tyre contact patch = better launch). There's a Shell just 200m outside the complex so you can pump 'em back up on the way home.

I finish work in Pyrmont at 5 and heading over ASAP from there. Ben is getting there a bit earlier I think. Hope to be there by 6. Kaz should be getting there at 6 too.

Nice f*cking cold night for some runs! :D Shame I couldn't get some decent times down! Best run was 15.704 @ 144.7kmh. I think AJ topped me on the time. I sorta had some traction issues

A quick pic in the servo on the way home revealed why I couldnt get any traction in 1st / 2nd all night. The old 'disintegrating' Falkens.....one too many laps of Wakefield me thinks :?

Image

I've got 5 cent piece size chunks of rubber splattered all the way up to my VS wing.... thats on the boot!

Lol Falkens err 8O they look shredded haha. Thanks for the wakefield thread btw, saw the speed off the street thing. Mate and i are gonna go do it soon.

Sounds like you guys had fun though, shame i missed it. Still sorting through a few issues (e-manage harnesses for one AarrggH).

Yeah my gf saw your first run against the red soapbox AJ, said it was pretty good! Shame I didn't get to see you run Ben, would have liked to see the GR in action. Would have been good if you guys got in a run against each other.

True story Ben - I got to WSID, met my gf and started scoping out the lanes for cars. Saw something bright red in the distance, so I asked my gf 'is that a Ferrari over there?' She said 'Nah that's Ben's car!' Methinks I need some new glasses hehe

Definitely one to do again, hopefully we can get more ppl, even as spectators!
