Version R rear wing. Where, how much, is it worth it?

Post by Rusty12 »

Hmmm, I am seriously considering getting a version R rear wing. How much do you think it would cost for paint+fitting if I was to order one, or what if I found one at a wreckers, how much do parts generally go for?

There are apparently quite a few wreckers in Brisbane's Springwood/Underwood suburbs that have FTO parts. Do the version R wings fit straight into the old wings boot slots?

yes, I suspect they will fit on original mounts... paint + fitting shouldn't cost more than $350, depending on who you go to.

if u find one at the wreckers, grab it ASAP coz they're high in demand and very rare to obtain.

So how much does wrecker stuff generally go for?

Also, where in Brisbane could a buy a new one and how much do you reckon they would cost?

Also, on the version R FTO's, is the rear bumper the same as the first version?

wrecker charges generally varies depending on where you go to, so it's pretty hard to put a firm figure on parts... but being an import, don't expect bargain-basement prices...

as I'm from Melb, I would have next to no clue where to buy a new one (or how much they cost) but yeah i suspect the rear bumper opn the version-R is the same as the rest...
