PS2 audio connection issue

Post by Shahrez »

Hey all, i want to hook up my PS2 to my LCD indash monitor. The video RCA's will be inserted to the monitor but the problem is with the audio. Iam not sure how iam going to get audio out my PS2 to my speakers, sub etc. I cannot connect it to my head unit as i have only 1 X RCA output. Currently i have got my ipod video connected to the monitor, where the video cables are in the monitor and for audio i have a direct auxililary connection from the ipod to my deck (aux input) which also charges my ipod. So iam not sure how to get around this problem!

There's potential for a thread about anything on FTO Australia

thats the only way i can think of, the other way is maybe if you can connect it into your ipod or something like that... so it would be:

PS2 -> ipd -> head unit

so it would be easiest to jsut use a double adaptor :)

whats the ipdo connector? is it just a 3.5mm jack into the headphone socket?
If so, just buy a 3.5 mm double adapter from dick smith.

Would've been nicer to have a direct input but you dont.

If you get really really stuck, u can use an FM Transmitter to tune it into your radio. after all.. its only ingame sounds you want, correct? Or are you after some top quality sound?

If you need good deal on photography, let me know.
