Righto...

Just had a sudden rush of patriotism so here is my rant...

I just wanted to say thanks to all you qld'ers... We came from such a small inactive state back at the start of last year when i came on as co-ordinator... But we built up a network of friends who now enjoy hanging out at all opportunities... We welcome new members regularly and always make great impressions when we're representing our club in public (except the staff at sizzler)...

We have seen many members join our ranks here in queensland, but not may have left. We have our regulars like Yang, Chelsea, Garth, Simon, Verity, Rob, Michael, Jerome, Jeff, Adam, Will, Jo, Kirsty Lukas (NSW) and of course Sammi..

Not to mention the bunch of people that have come along to some meets and still post occasionally.

Our main fanatics Yang and Michael constantly on the forums answering every post they can... And their new follower jason (eThix) is well on his way to spammer...

I spose i just want to say thanks for helping me out so much.. thanks for coming on the cruises... thanks for being active on our forums.. thanks for making this community great..

If you ever leave, please stay in touch. We're more than a club of cars (that happen to have owners)... we're a community with a common interest... we're friends... The FTOs brought us together and the awesome friendships we form will ensure we will have more great times ahead.

Sometimes i think half the reason me loving my fto so much is because of this site... It makes owning an FTO so much easier... It turns it from being a mode of transport to a way to belong to a great community...

So thanks to all you queenslanders (And the other members too) for everything you do on this site..

I look forward to organising more cruises, diners, car shows and general fun things...

You all rule!

So heres to the best club i have ever belonged to... or even browsed through for that matter...

I think I speak for everyone when I say you have done a fantastic job getting us active. You changed the way QLD operated, went from being a lazy state doing bugger all to what we have today.

I know what you mean about love seeing ftos together. I love it when I see one just driving around by myself let alone a whole group.

Whenever i have passengers for cruises... they always say something like:

" Gawd.... i thought you were weird... the WHOLE CLUB is warped!.. muct be an FTO thing.."

WTH!! my internet goes down for 2 days and look what i've missed lol

my reasons for being active on here is also very selfish... it's the only thing that i can do when i'm drunk without hurting myself... though keyboard face is not pretty.

Agreed with everyone it's great to have such a fun group to hang out with.
