Yes you heard right...

a 100% LEGAL QT approved Fibreglass vented bonnet...

Comes with all the certification needed...

Spoke with the workshop making them and they will make us ones for $600 a pop if we get 7+ orders...

they will be just like this...

But in fibreglass...

Now these are a little heavier than normal but still lighter than standard....

But obviously vented...

Also looking into CF overlays for them... will add around $500 to the price...

As far as being legal there is a heap of rules these guys have to follow... when each bonnet is made, they have a full time Engineer overseeing all production... they are hand made with the highest quality available...

One off bonnets are $1500...

Who wants one???

Its a fibreglass, so you paint it whatever colour you like...

And they are a PERFECT fit... they have to be to be legal...

Bonnet Pins CANNOT be used with these if you wish to remain legal...

will fit as securely as your original bonnet and is very easy to install...

This may seem like a silly question, but why is this more then the UAS c/f one ...??

Because it is LEGAL!!! The only legal one available in the world...

I am VERY interested in the works this shop does... as i have recieved SOOOOO many fines for mine...

It will work out dearer, but will save you in fines.... AND insurance...

I was expecting a lot more than they quoted...

And there is no cut-off... will just look to go ahead when we hit 7 ppl...

Oh and im donating my precious bonnet for them to get the mould from...

The quality of work in this is amazing... just pick up Octobers HOT4s and have a read.. they got a huge write up....

so theres not going to be any potential problems with them using your current bonnet as a mould? like another company getting uppity over them using their design or something stupid like that?

don't spose so, since, from what I've been told when I was calling around for quotes on my custom rear bar fabrication, anyone could take a mould of it & make up copies of it if i started mass producing them & there would be nothing I could do...

Sam: I would be interested in finding out the name of the place that is doing it so that I can talk to them about my getting my rear bar made up..

$75 a pop... had at least 7 so far....

the worst thing is... along with that $75... goes 1 point on your lisc.... argghh

and dont forget a normal fibreglass bonnet will void all insurance...

so those thousands you pay are year are pretty much down the toilet when you make a claim

Are you able to get this to Sydney or do I have to make a "special" trip up there to get it fitted and painted??

so even though theyre legal, they still void insurance because of 'crumple zone integrity' i'm guessing? or would i have to check with my insurance company?
do they come with the engineer's manufacturing certificate?
