Fixed Speed Cameras - Brisbane

Post by mr-charisma »

Just a reminder about the fixed speed camera's that have been installed in Brisbane ...

Tarragindi off-ramp (M1) on Brisbane's Southside, another along the
Bruce Highway at Burpengary and on the
East-side of the Story Bridge targeting vehicles traveling from both directions.

Two of these are active as of today :( - Storey Bridge & Burpengary, Bruce Highway.. The signs have been put up in locations where they are partially blocked by trees - at least for the Storey bridge.. not sure about burpengary.
So remember, don't speed in these locations ;) lol

The Tarragindi one is going to be active early next year.. but the signs should be out by then..

I think that maybe we should start up a Brisbane / Gold Coast speed camera map :P & post up any locations where we've seen speed camera vehicles set up, cause they're getting more & more sneaky on where they hide them... what do you think?

would be great for people with GPS's as well..

For starters ..

UBD Map Ref (approx) MAP 180 P,15 Logan Rd. Between Nursery Rd & Marshall Rd stretch going northbound. I think between Sterculia & Captain St - usually in the mornings

Kelvin grove Rd, Kelvin grove - near KFC - not sure what street numbers / other landmarks etc..

really need a GPS & mark down coordinates for them...

and they like to camp out on the M1 heading northbound about 200m before the Hope Island / Sanctuary Cove exit.

behind a wall where yoiu can't see them until it's too late. ;)
