howdy s.a. folk,

i'm gonna make the road trip over to adelaide over the christmas break to visit friends.
( yes i'll be driving the FTO :D )
will probably be in town from dec 27 / 28 til about jan 5 / 6

I'll be on holidays between christmas and new years, be a great opportunity to catch up with you.

I'm not into the rubber glove / lube thing (what have you been up to while you were away shaun?), but I'd love to check out the grill and front bar on your car, dare I say "in the flesh". Looked slick as in the pics you posted a while back.

Wow, i dont believe how busy ive been. havent even checked the forum in days...

Anyway, New years eve party tonight, recovery tomorrow, Im free anytime after that for a cruise / get together with Gav. I dont know if anyone is working over the holidays, but maybe late this week ?? Thursday or Friday ? Im good for the weekend as well, but dont want to cut it too close to when Gav has to drive back to that "other" state...

OK. here's the plan so far...

Meet at the usual meeting place at 10am (before it gets too hot)

If you dont know where that is Gav, read >>>This Post<<<

From there, we will travel up Gorge Rd (Travis is drooling already....) then UP corkscrew rd (now Shaun is as well...) then south thru the hills to Mt Lofty Summit Lookout for a breather.

Next, we travel back west, via the freeway thru the tunnel and onto Cross rd thru to Glenelg. Turn north at the Buffalo, and head up to West beach.

Im planning on stopping along the beach here somewhere for lunch and general catch up chat / car comparing etc etc... Ill confer with Steve & Kesia about a good spot to stop along here... Maybe even a good day for a swim. :D

So If anyone has anything to add or reccommend, go right ahead.

Ill prolly go for a dry run on thursday in the Pajero to check road conditions etc first.

Look forward to seeing you there. More the merrier.

Sounds good. Have something on Saturday arvo, but will still come for the drive before hand and then just divert off from probably cross road. Will work out later, but will be god to head out again.
