Ladies and gentlemen, please refer below for preliminary details of our highly-anticipated first major cruise event for 2004:

Where: Phillip Island
Cost: $5pp (incl food & drinks)

Time: pre-meet at 11:00am, departing for Phillip Isl at 11:30am SHARP.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Social activities of the day will include sausage sizzles + drinks, cruises around the island and a fundraiser for the Royal Children's Hospital charity program on behalf of FTO Australia. So please dig deep into your pockets and support this cruise for a great cause!

Usual rules apply - abide by road laws, no burnouts and no heros with something to prove.

ALL members are strongly encouraged to attend in support of this awesome event... Bring your friends or loved ones along and enjoy a good drive, good food and some great company (oh, and the attention )!

Looking forward to seeing you all there! C'mon everyone, let's make this event a day to remember!! :D

* if anybody wants some new sets of stickers ($6 per set), please let me know ASAP (latest 22nd Feb) so i can order them in time before the cruise.

Sounds good to me Mikey! The Royal Childrens Hospital, is a perfect place to donate our money. If we are lucky, we may just get the name of our car club announced on TV.

But yeah count me in, Ill definately be there

I'm in! The RCH fundraiser is a great idea.

I like the poll u set up Mikey. On one hand, you know how many have confirmed. On the other hand, people who aren't coming will probably not bother checking the "no" box.
There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.

I'll be there.

If I'm not mistaken Mikey, the $5 is to cover the food and drink, so we should bring along another $5 (or more) for the charity?

I'll be there if I hitch a ride with scracy. Great cause for our money to go to and even though we don't need it, great excuse for a 'CRUISE' :D 8)

Hey, might be a stupid question, but is this cruise for FTOs only? Or is Mike arranging the FTO section of this for a bigger cruise?

This question has been asked before and the simplest answer is this:

Although we appreciate other cars, these cruises, events and meets are about celebrating the passion we have for the FTO specifically, not all cars in general.

Having said that, we openly and warmly welcome all people, even if they don't have a FTO, as long as they understand this day is about the FTO and as long as they are coming because they are passionate about the FTO, or because they want to find out more information about it.

If you just wanted to come because of the cruise, and not the FTO, then I'd suggest this is not the best situation, as we are all a little "one-eyed" when it comes to the FTO.

The focus of the day will be the FTO. This includes things like photos and sharing information etc. These events are a great resource for information and a fun social event, but if you don't have a FTO, your car probably won't be in the photos and if you are not there after the information, you could feel left out.

So if you are genuinely interested in the FTO, then you are genuinely welcome.

Definitely not welcome are any wankers with "size issues" who are out to prove their car is better. These events are about celebrating the FTO not "my car is better than yours" crap.

I won't be going to this one, because my car is cursed...

Driving to work this morning when a guy in a XR ute ran a red light and T-boned me... Only had my car back from the panel beaters for 2 days
LED ALL the things.
