Any good place for fixing wiring? My cigarette lighter does not work anymore. I opened the fuse box and it was empty inside(the fuses were attached to the sides of the box). 8O

For people in SE suburbs... I'm using a new mechanic now (instead of Nandi), forgot the actual name but its at 17 Aristoc Road, Glen Waverley 3150. Phone number is 9561 8591.

The guy's name is Kam Chan, he used to be an old neighbor of mine and he's got over 20 years of experience. Installed my new Kyb shocks for $280 in one day, and a previous visit was also pretty good. If it helps, he's from Hong Kong so he's more fluent in cantonese (but I find his english fine) and he does the usual cheaper prices for cash in hand etc.

I used to like Nandi a lot but it's just too far for me (in Keysborough) and I just stopped using him after one bad experience. He put in 4 new king spring lows worth about $360... literally 2 weeks later I wanted lower springs in the rear so he swapped them, I paid another $200 or whatever... and he held onto my basically brand new kings. He said he'd try to "look for them" but I thought that he intended to re-use them or whatever. Normally great guy though just that one bad experience puts you off sometimes.

It's my partners sisters partners business lol.

They are great guys.

Not only do they do audio, but also paint, interior, fibreglassing, and will help you with just about anything you want custom built.

They can do just about anything lol, all you need is a wild imagination.

I did my research and for people in the west i can recommend:

C and D Motorworks on Duke Street Sunshine.

Top blokes, know their stuff, plenty of supras, skyines, silvias and everyday cars always getting work done there.

Really, C & D? I drive past them all the time as i live near there, but i still take my car all the way to Revzone in ringwood. Lots of skylines, but really they are everywhere. How much have you had to deal with them and what work have they done for you?

Nothing major has been done, but when i asked about getting my transmission serviced they straight away knew it took a different atf (diaqueen) and they would need a couple weeks to order it in or even find it.

If you dont want to travel far they are pretty good and atm I see no reason to go else where.
