Which subs???

Post by RK1-WhiteKnight »

So I cant decide which to buy. it was going to be the Alpine type S...

http://www.onlinecaraudio.co.nz/index.p ... -sws-1242d

But they just got the Infinity Kappa 122.7 in....

http://www.onlinecaraudio.co.nz/index.p ... appa-122.7

They'll be running of separate Panasonic amps at 350W RMS each (I'll be getting two :D ), check my other post to see the rest of my set up

Also if anyone in NZ wants to buy a couple of Rockford fosgate p2s PM me (See other post for pics/specs)

i would reccomend Type R's over the Type S

Even a Type-X if you have the cash

http://www.alpine.com.au/products/index ... section=34

worth the money if you want the quality and durability.

Sammi :)

I went with the Alpines. Found out the Infinity's which are meant to be replacing the perfects because of the over extension problem, have the same problem lol.

If I had the amps to power the R's or X's I would get them but I'm not feeling rich enough for a total system make over

http://forums.nzicemag.co.nz/index.php

forum for car audio in nz.

maybe checkout the IDMax- a great blend of SQ and SPL or my personal favorite- the digital design 3512. a single 3512 in the right box will easily out do the alpines or the infinities.

if your commited to the 2 choices id go alpine personally. just a little bit more punch.

good luck with the setup

I've already bought the Alpines, should arrive tomorrow

Is there a New Zealand distributor for the OA gear? Our next project is my mates Hilux so were looking for some serious gear to fill it with sound
