Hey Steve I heard that this kit is not avalible for grs, I think it would be very possible to alter it for the gr model, the only problem would be the slight larger hole going in to the box, which i am sure would be easy to seal around a 3 inch pipe, what are your thoughts ??

:D Nearly ready - I'm calling past Unique on the way home.
Most of the bits are in - just waiting on the bit that connects the pod to the pipe - fingers crossed - and I'll post the answer for you tomorrow.

Cheers

Don't think so mate. As far as I know only teania and smorrison have them fitted atm. Teania with the first of the production run and smorrison with the prototype.

i assume the products will be available to look at during the April 17 dyno day?

if so, can we pay then (after looking at it ) if we are interested?
do they install it? or we do?
also, do they sell the mounting brackets separately? if so, how much?
I have a K&N filter but no mounting brackets for it to keep it inplace.

thanks.

8) Have to admit.... I'm loving mine...

Doesn't make a lot of difference in sound at low speeds - but put the foot down and  yeah baby!!! Makes it sound much.... much ..... (struggling to find the right sound word here....) :?: "meatier" I s'pose.

I can email anyone pics of mine if they need it (as the first of the "production line" model)...

On the UAS website it says the kit is also for GR models but this is cheaper. What is NOT included then since it is cheaper?

I would assume from seeing it that its the heat shield because the MAS sensor on the GR's sticks out to far for the heat shield design

we haven't developed a heat shield for the GR, i'm not sure how it would fit to be honest after looking at GAV's car.

The GR one is completely different

So the rubber intake pipe fits onto the mas sensor? And it comes with adaptors for an air filter to connect to the sensor?

How would the air filter be connected in a GR then? I'm quite confused...
Whats included in the GR kit?

Steve, i'm possily interested in the airbox, but i can't get it immediatly.

>> Will it be available in the FTO Shop in the future?
>> How many units do you think you will have?
>> I take it that after the group buy, the price will go up to the one originally mentioned?

Also do you know if the actual intake pipe is worth getting, does it provide that much difference over the standard one?

What are the costs of everthing, except the air filter?

Thanx...

1. yes
2. group buy unlimited units, after that it will be produced on demand.
3. price after gropu buy will be 395. and will not include a snorkel

the gain on a tiptronic is 6kW give or take depending on mods (see hte uniqueFTO section of the site).
