Thanx mate, sorry to bug you again,
I read the thing in the "FTO Project", but I need to clarify, is the gain:

A) Going from a stock form to the UAS intake kit.
B) From an aftermarket airfilter to the UAS intake kit + the air filter.

The question that I was really interested in was, would there be much gain from just replacing the stock plastic intake tubing to the UAS one. Providing you are keeping the air filter that you already have... 8O

just a quickie,

Would UAS put any thinking into doing the same air piping but in a polished metal like the one from funky product?

or would it become to expensive?

Just would look a whole lot smarter

thanks.

our goal was to create an OEM style intake so it doesn't draw too much attention when the coppers open your car up.

we could probably get one made (the mould is stainless) it will cost you a foturne though as it will be a one off.

Hi guys I'm new at this compu-techno sh.. so appologies up front & down to biz. Bought the mssus a GPX 12 Mnths ago (hence the handle) and found mslf a new toy. Done a few minor mods i.e. black T/lights GMax-Blackmax 17s but I digress I lust after the airbox kit but want to know if the heat shield on the side can be extended up to the bonnet with a mesh triangle vent cut in the bonnet thus eliminating the top heat shield

you would have to do it yourself... you would have to buy the kit and modify it to suit... i could probably arrange to get one made up without the nut holes in it

Is it still possible to get the CAI kit at the group buy price? I intended to get it when the group buy thing kicked off, but alas the funds weren't available.

I've got some cash now though. Please help a poor cobber out.
