track day

Post by aza013 »

Ok I will be looking into getting another track day going in about 3-4 months but this time I would like to book the track just for us
I have posted this up in the mitsi club as well to get the numbers up to make it a cheeper day for us all.

ok the price is as below

Track Bookings

Weekdays $2,050 per day
Saturdays $3,600
Sundays $3,800 (and public holidays)
Insurance cover is mandatory where the track booking sub-books others onto the circuit. (Please call for more information - speak to Garry Willmington directly)
NOTE : There are mandatory requirements if timing is used (please call for more information)

Options on Standby

Ambulance $495 per day
Water Truck $165 per day
Control Tower $150 per day
Tower Timing Room $55 per day
Tower VIP Room $55 per day
Fire Extinguishers $11 each per day + recharge $99
Crash Rescue Vehicle $330 per day
Fire Rescue Vehicle $66 per Day
Recovery Vehicle $165 per Day
Or Recovery per Tow $33
Wood Flour & Brooms $16.50 per set
Witches Hats $2.20 each per day
Overnight Security Guard $33 per hour
Flags (per set) $11 per day
Tilt Tray Recovery $200 per day

on a weekday price we will need at least 20 cars to have a price of $102.50pp, that is if there is no other cost added into it, ie. if we need any of the Options on Standby or if we have to pay for them only if we use them.

I will ring them up to see what we need to do for this day and a price for it to be a 100%.
so who would like to be in for this?

Yep. Interested in a mid-week day to save on costs, though I know this won't suit all.

due to new owners the prices for the hire of the track has gone up
so we would now need a min number of 35 cars to get the track for $100 pp :(
so if we want to get this runing we will have to get a big list going that is 100% for the day, so if any one knows some ppl that want to hit the track and have some fun let them know about it.

Track Pricing for 2008

Saturdays $4,600
Sundays $4,800 (and public holidays)
Weekdays $3,500
Any CAMS events will attract a $500 levy which will be charged in addition to the circuit hire.
Insurance cover is mandatory AASA Permit $800
Ambulance $550 per day
Track Marshal $280
Control Tower $200 per day
There are other options on standby eg water truck, witches hats. Phone for details and costs.

It's just the name they give their generic track days which are open to the general public (provided you pay up and you've got a Wakefield licence / CAMS licence).
They're not timed etc, not that it matters.

the prices are $50 for the year Wakefield licence and $110 for the day :D
unless you are like Ben and have a CAMS licence and then you pay less :D

do the vehicles need rego on the track, and do you need a license? the fto came back to bite me on the arse from beyond the grave at about 2pm yesterday
Racing in a VL is like being in the Special Olympics, coz even if you win, you're still a <u>RETARD</u>
