Snow day was cancelled due to lack of snow

Post by SILVERFISH »

so what's white and hits AMACHA's face at 100km per hour?
A SNOWBALL THROWN BY ME!!!!

* Snow Day - CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF SNOW :P *

organised by R4zor of MCA (Mitsubishi Club Australia)
with an open invite to MLGA & FTO Vic memnbers -
here are all the details folks...

Snow -
A daily lift pass is $92 ea
A daily lift pass including board or ski hire $139 ea
*** 10 or more people booked gets a 10% discount ***

Lessons -
First timers on the snow get a free Beginners or Second timers lesson included in your ski lift ticket price. (Levels 1 & 2)
Lessons at 11am will be our first point of call for all those who wish to do so. It is highly recommended if you have never been, if you have been before why not do it again and have fun with the group.

Travel -
Domestic travel
- Car pooling to the initial meet and to Mansfield will keep costs down and after a day on the snow sharing the driving on the way home is preferable. Please discuss this with people in your area and keep us informed.

Return Bus pass from Mansfield to Mt. Bulla village is $45 ea (based on 2007 season pricing)
- Meet at 'McDonalds' Crn Springvale Rd. & Maroondah Hwy at 6:00am for strong Coffee and breakfast departing at 6:30am.
- To catch bus from Mansfield to Bulla at 9:30am
(Meet point is 2H from Ballarat, 1.5H from Geelong, 1H from Pakenham)
(Moving the meet point further in city puts us further from Bulla and puts back the meet time)

*** Still looking into costing ***

Current estimated costs: $184 including hire and lessons / $137 without hire
Extra costs: Food, Fuel (or a share of fuel for your driver)

not so much a cruise as we'll probably all be car pooling to save on costs,
but should be a damn fun day out.

let me know if you're interested or have any questions.
cheers,
Gav
