How much for the Evo engine conversion?

So you want a hairdryer on your FTO? Or do you already have a hairdryer in it? This is the section for it. All other big power projects & forced induction goes here too.

ok done but no promises on whether you'll get paid or not

6-7k for front cut including gearbox

5k for install, including fabrication of mounts, pipes etc

3-4k for ecu. Would be shitloads easier for a stand alone ecu. Sorting out the loom would be a bitch. Thats a very rough indication, install prices will vary though and when you upgrade certain things, the cost will start to blow out.

Racing in a VL is like being in the Special Olympics, coz even if you win, you're still a RETARD

Depending on the km's, the condition of both the engine and gearbox and the cost of freight, 5 k isn't too shabby at all. I was tempted to max my credit card out for an evo 9 half cut that went for 7k 8O

I'm in the proces of getting my Evo4 rolling chassis...

have entire thing minus panels and engine...

An evo 7,8,9 would be huge work to get the AWD to work due to all the Electronics in the gearboxes.

Evo 4 is the earliest one that will fit, hence why im getting a 4... easiest (still hard) to do...

I am also currently talking to a bloke that owns an AWD Fto... Just sorting out the sh*t...
