How about this.

For those who live out this way, we meet at Homebush Bay at say 8:30PM

We can then cruise to the city and meet the rest of the crew at the Rocks at 9:30PM

Then we go for a cruise on the OP Highway when we're ready.

Any other suggestions? (suggest different times/locations etc)

or we can (if u want to or on another night) get all the ftos together and go to the drive ins, that will be awsome.
i think it would b good if we can all go and watch 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS!!!

how do u get your cars to the drive ins, most ppls cars are lowered and would sratch the front bar.

not mine.

Its a bit early for the movie so i couldnt find out the times.

Are we talking about the Bass Hills drive-in?? Saturday nights usually they do 7:30 and 9:30 sessions Im guessing we are looking at 9:30, and hopefully they will run more than one at the same time for all us car freaks.

Some people are bound to have problems with reception in their FTOs (Im talking from experience, when I went there with 4 other FTOs once)especially ones with Jap spec radios. Unless youve been there and know yours works.

Availability of tickets might be an issue too unless we book the tickets ahead of time. (movie is released only 2 nights before remember).

Important thing is that we all meet up that day.

yeh i've been dere before and the radio station is above 86+ie 86.3? woteva and it worked. dere are also speakers! but dunno if they work.
If all come well den would we still meet at Homebush?

Hiya fellas,

A newbie owner of an FTO GPX - interested in meeting other owners. You guys don't mind if I come along this weekend? Still depends on when my car is finished - currently having some repairs done so hopefully it'll be done before the meetup this Saturday night. But yeah, would be cool having an all FTO meetup. And the drive-in idea is awesome!

how about next to the olympic park station at the car park... or... i reckon a cool spot to meet is that big open area next to the superdome where you can see the blue street lamps light up at night.. you know where i mean?? just opposite the fountain...

Blue street lights and fountain - no idea but it shouldn't be too hard to spot.... still at 8.30??

Bass Hill Drive-in plays soundtrack on FM 91 & 94, or they have the antenna clip thingy for AM radios - last resort they do still have speaker boxes.
