You obviously didn't read the entire thread matt, I know where to get the stock mounts, i know where to get aftermarket stock mounts, What i want to know where to get these hardended ones that ben and payaya are telling me to get, they made mention that their from an evo or something but didn't specify exactly. The specification is what i need to know. Thanks anyways

How about just telling me instead of trying to school me, I searched and rear plenty of threads but what i needed was specifics on what to look for such as "evo bush inserts etc". See where i'm coming from?

So is it the same mount for both the front and back crossmember mounts? ie this one http://www.meek.com.au/index.php?_a=pro ... uct_id=250
They dont sell a rear for the evo 3 anymore :(

+1
Is that set of four mounts going to change out all 4 of my FTO mounts?
If yes, Is that the best price available?
If yes, I know what I am going to buy with some of my tax this year.

Be careful, Many of the Mitsi bushes look the same, but they differ ever so slightly in outer diametre. I've found the early Evo top mounts are too small by half a mm. As is the Evo I-III front lower mount, hence we use the Evo IV-VI. Our top mounts match the Evo VII-IX

So in summary:
Lower rear mount: Evo I-III
Lower front mount: Evo IV-VI
Top mounts are both: Evo VII-IX

I dont reckon half of that kit listed will fit.

You dont need solid engine mounts toby, theyre gonna cause hectic cabin vibrations.

Planning to do them all because as payaya said if your top ones are rooted it puts pressure on the bottom ones and basically wrecks them all, it works vice versa too if your bottom ones are gone it wrecks the top ones.
As yet havent sourced all the inserts that payaya and bennoz reccomend because one for them is discontinued.
If i cant source the ralliart inserts soon ill just get them from my local auto shop which has the for about 60 each. They sell the entire mount not just the insert/busing.

So I can go into Bursons or some where and buy the full mount. All 4 for $240, will make it a lot easier and quicker for me.
Do u have part numbers I can give them?

Bursons may not have them, the shop i get them from is Walker Auto One in ipswich QLD. quite a specialty shop IMO because they have listing for everything FTO. The mounts are made by a company called Transgold, no number sorry. (they probably have numbers but the shop didn't know them, they just had it as a listing for rear/front mounts for FTO  ).
