Meek Performance

Post by FtoSam »

Just been talking to the guys from there about my AWD conversion... They really seem to know their Mitsi's....

Has anybody been there?? Had a service??

If anyone does go there, let me know, as i'll get them to have a squiz and the underneath of the FTO for floorpan differences while its in there...

Also asked for price on servicing and he said
Engine Oil elf 10W50/Genuine Oil filter/Labour $110 incl GST
But from my dealings with them so far, they seem pretty good...

anyone?

Heheheh ... Gee who recommended them ....

I go there ... They haven't touched the FTO (as I did not have it), but that is who has supplied me with all the parts for the GSR/Evo ... I also got a fair few parts off them (mounts and stuff) when I still had the Evo engine in the Hyundai ...

If they need a donor car to take some measurements, let me know, and I will tee it up with the boys for them to use my car as a base ... They can then sus it all out...

I dont think they're that keen to go to all the effort of inspecting the car and everything for free... so they said if one comes in for a service, they'll do it while its on a hoist.. so it isnt so much of an effort...

If you go back there for anything in the FTO would you mind asking them to check it out?

Only if you're going in for something though...

Yeah, I need to chat with them about some parts... So will prolly be having a beer with em ... Hopefully, I will do it in the next couple of weeks....

I have wanted them to sus out my FTO for an AWD conversion for a while also .. I have seen the work they have done converting normal lancers to AWD... So yeah, should be good ...

Perhaps a stupid question, but would doing a RWD conversion be any easier than AWD?
