For some compliance workshops, especially in Victoris, it does have the 17" 215/45 (Mivec Only) written on the placard. The reason is because when the workshop used the test car for ADR compliance it had 17" wheels on it hence it is written there. There are no standard 17" wheels on any FTO models. It is also incorrect as the correct tyre type for the FTO on 17" wheels should be 40's instead of 45. This causes the speedometer to be incorrect if you use 45's. On the other hand, ppl using 17" or even 18" wheels with this placard wouldn't have a problem with RTA as the rules state that you could only legally increase the size by1 inch of the stock wheels unless you have engineers approval. My mate had a problem when he wanted to register his FTO last time.
