Looks very much like the sirocco. Golf V is beter IMO

Interesting to note that VW are moving towards smaller displacement, forced induction engines to acheive the right balance of performance / fuel economy.

They have 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6L turbos on the way I believe.

Not sure what implications this has for the P-plate turbo ban thing, but surely VW couldn't afford to ignore it... it would significantly affect their sales one would think.

It would only effect sales in small backwater countries like Australia, I am sure we are a small market for them :roll:

European markets reign for them. The equivalent for the usual camry, falcon etc is the golf..

remember the GTI and GTI - R are all 2 litre turbo's, and passat is a 3.6 litre v6 - so good they have some eco engines and some performance
