We are due again! Considering the price of petrol is a little prohibitive when it comes to cruises...

exactly, instead of cruising around wasting $1.55 per liter of petrol

we can simply get together by organizing a DIY day

where we can both catch up and help each other out.

and for you non p platers i'm sure there will be beer  .

lets make it happen :D

just did the biggest failure since owning my fto ... i wish we had a DIY day every weekend

Okay got bored and asked for powder coating prices (ranged from 40bucks - 75bucks a wheel, it sounded good soo i went to the shop) got there and they started b/sing about ... my rims needs to be sandblasted + primed and all this crap and end up with lowest price estimate was 390$ from some small place in padstow nsw.

Well anyway i was pissed off soo i bought some sand papers and 2 black 3$ spray cans
Sprayed my first wheel and it turned out okay ... but dam, i got paint all over my vinyl floor (i used an old bed sheet and it goes through)
2nd wheel i didnt clean the rims much and it dripped the sh*t all over the rims and paint wouldnt stick but used plastic instead, it didnt drip through.
3rd rim ... after what happened on 2nd rim, i thought might as wheel not sanding it and just spray on the paint and it bubbled all over and wouldnt stick aswell
4th rim also a failure i ran out of spray paint and used a paint brush and brushed my rim to disaster

Diffenately putting all mods in mind aside and need some bloody new rims

ok to start off with we need a place to do this
this place needs a lot of flat area, power and also some undercover area as well so if the rain comes we will still be able to get the work done.

so if any one has this let me know :D
