ok progress report.
The motor should be leaving adelaide either today or tommorow. I have been out looking for intercoolers and the piping also been looking at bovs. But manily been getting all my manual conversion parts and making sure I have them all.
A quick question guys do the 2 motors use the same starter motor so I can use mine off the 6a12

Sorry mate, have been busy (not working on cars) I'll have another shot this arvo.

You tried Panelhouse as well? www.panelhouse.com.au

The starters are the same, just different part numbers as there are a few superceded entries. As long as you get the gearbox sandwich plate right, your starter will fit ;)

ok guys was having a look at how I am going to do the intercooler piping and I have gotten stuck.
On the drivers side their isint any room to bring the piping up between the body and the belts.
Does this means I have to bring both sets of intercooler piping in on the passenger side and use a intercooler with the inlets on the same side.
Ben how are you doin yours buddy
Thanks guys

ok let me start again.
Hey guys does anybody know were I might be able to buy a harness for the 6a13tt for a microtech engine managment system.
The computer I think is a lt8.
Also the wiring loom that come with my motor has so many plugs on it some are white in colour and some are green. I have figured out that the green ones go to my ecu, were do all the white plugs go to.
Is that better for you sam

Heheh thanks mate...

As far as the loom for an LT8 you're best off calling up microtec in sydney... They should be able to point you in the right direction.

Post a pic of the white plugs? They could be from the 6a13's Tip box ecu... as remember they have a seperate ECU.

And you will need to confirm what microtec it is...

ok thank you sam. On the motor it says it was a 5 speed manual. I will go to my local tuning shop and see if they can find me the correct harness as I have been told it will be easier to wire in the motor with a stand alone ecu
