I put it up initially at quite simply a ridiculous price on car sales... as I wasn't desperate to sell. Only really dropped it down to a reasonable level after getting back from Japan in jan.
After I got serious and priced it around the 12/13 mark the number of enquiries rocketed up and offers came trundling in. Lot of low offers... a lot of tyre kickers ... but generally speaking most people just don't turn up to inspect at all... all people that viewed it were quite keen... it's not a bad looking car afterall and is still mechanically good.
There's nothing wrong with the car... there's just a lot of people out there who haven't got the money but hope mum and dad will fork out for it...
Mum and dad see how low it is... think about "practicality" and that ends that
Also I think the blue/white interior looks a bit garish in photos... but if you see it in the flesh your opinion will most likely change. Most people see a photo of that... and rule it out... I only looked at the car myself initially rather hesitantly because of it. Once I saw it though, I put a deposit down straight away
Anyway all in all... it's all about having someone serious... who actually wants an FTO... to buy it. Someone who's seen the other FTOs and given them a test drive etc. There are some cheaper cars about to be sure but I think this ones a bit more looked after and loved not to mention there's very little to do to it if you want a nice modded car.
