It may just be me but I think that last one screws up the whole front end, just doesn't look right somehow
Actually, in a way I think you are right. It seems as though the theme needs to continue past the guard in a way. makes the front bar look out of place.

Maybe rockits idea of a slant would address that to some degree. Will have to do a little more photochopping....
Or ... Make the vent in line with the line line that runs through the top of the 1/4 panel .. Like how the first Ferrari vent is ... Actual the set up like that in the first Ferarri would suite the FTO ....

i think if you do a vent on the front bar aswell, there will be too many vents, would look too overdone

yep looks much better but still a little of to me. I think it's cause of the 2 different lines on the side of our cars at the 3 different angles. The one Bottom of the hip, the top line where it kicks out under the window and then not to mention the line from the rear quarter forward where the bumper kicks out (the inside edge of the kick).

All of these lines run at different angles, I've been toying with the idea of a stripe down the side for a while but always get stuck with making it work with the back and front of the car. I wonder what it would look like with only the rear vent and the line through the door rubbing out somewhere along the door. :?:

I think that one needs to be rotated clockwise slightly and pushed closer to the rear wheel

Thats much better. Notice how the top line of the vent on the green one runs parallel with the bottom of the window. Your pretty close to that on the FTO, but not quite. If you make them parallel, I think that would make it.
