1995 Black Gpx **NOT FOR SALE ANYMORE**

Post by SG »

Gday all, I'm selling it because the suspension is too hard and its too much work to take it all out and put softer springs in and besides i'm getting into classic cars now... ~1940's art deco trucks...

Heres the ad on autotrader http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotiv ... esult=true

Its a fast car and it looks pretty good aswell i reckon, if you dont mind the ripped seat and the clear coat missing on the passengers door.... Other than that it is pretty much in really great condition

Heres a pic.

Image

Theres no engine mods. Just a light weight flyweel and crank pulley, LSD, brass button clutch, and the coilovers... its -very- nippy and agile :D

Selling for 7990 to a good home

Price reduced now to $7990

Specs are:
Air filter, extractors, exhaust
Light weight crank pulley and flywheel, and lsd
Front cusco adj. strut brace
17x8 wheels with 235/40 tyres
Tein SS coilovers which are balanced perfectly together with tyres pressures
Midnight express window tint... led clear blinkers... HID 8000k headlights..
A few carbon fibre bits and peices inside the cabin...

The engine does have a few k's on it, but they're highway k's. It doesnt make any strange noises at all... i use 10/40 thinnish oil and theres no lifter noise...

Don't know what else to say, its a great car to drive and to race but i'm moving onto to other types of cars, like cars from the 40s, so hopefully someone can enjoy this one...

Wow, what a bargain!

Anyone who is interested - drive a stock FTO then one with coil-overs, and you'll see exactly what SG means by nippy :D

Yea, that's a good price for a good car. I think the Kms might be a little too high as it's closing into 200k so the buyers would be a little more limited :?

Otherwise this would've been snapped up real quick. Good luck with sale anyhow.

Yes its on coilovers... its not lowered too much at the front because the more you lower it the more you set off the roll center, and its not lowered that much at the back because the more i lower it the more it understeers...

its not for sale any longer though

Oh ok no worries. Theres no pics around the site so i've uploaded a few. The rims are Gmax Drift 6(?) i think. They're definetly gmax if you get a catalogue they'll be in there. They're 17x8 and fairly lightweight, they're about as light as a pair of standard 16s.

Heres some more pics...

8O I am surprised this is still for sale... 8O

One of those youngins that are askin for a sub $7k FTO should really look at this, it's a bargain!

As for light weight wheels, I weighed my old 18" Enkei RP03's with tyres and they came in just over 150 grams LIGHTER than stock 16's with tyres

There are some mean wheels out there, so gutted I had to sell them
