Not this again ... There are a few places that have been named previously ... I think in the NSW section ...

But yeah, I use Ricol @ Peakhurst .... Aza uses Pulse @ Menai ....

Joe Armour Auto Repairs in Kingswood. Cheap labour rates but do a great job.

If someone from here recommends a place, and it's close to you, you've probably found a winner.

Just had my 100000km service.

Did it at BEL Garage at Regents Park.

Great guys and decent prices, all up cost was 1350 including new brake pads and engine mounts, and all that other stuff needed for a major service.

Had some ticking noise in the engine which i thought was tappets but was actually built up old oil in the head so they flushed that and put new oil using royal purple.

Just a heads up if anyone needs someone local, finally found a decent mechanic!

D.I.Y is fun :D
thats if your doing just a engine oil and oil filter and coolant. but if its more complicated then take it to the cheapest workshop (but not too cheap where they're dodgy). a service isnt something you need to go to the best mechanic for ... right?
like i would do a 80$ service at a local mechanic
than a 180$ service at TODA  *hides*

yeah. engine oil change and filter can be easily DIY. ANy mechanic can do it. pretty standard. They will add a safety inspection on top of that. Should look at about $100.

Personally , i always buy my own oil and filter. Mechanics generally provide crap oils and filter to maximise profits.
