Australian Open Tennis 2009

Post by SILVERFISH »

i know KJ, nacho & tarkus are avid tennis fans,
but this offer is open to any other vic members interested in coming along.

it's almost time for this years Australian Open Tennis,
and there's nothin better than spending a day in the sun,
sipping on a few Heinekens, and enjoying the sights & sounds
of some of the best tennis in the world.

I usually go on the first saturday of the event,
(saturday 24th jan) as there is still enough players
left in the comp to ensure some good matches on the outside courts.

a ground pass for the day is $29
(does not include access to Rod Laver Arena)
including the bands and night time entertainment.

this won't be a cruise, will be catching public transport in & out of the city.

so, who's interested?

(open invite - friends, gf/bf's, wife/husbands, "life partners", all welcome)

cheers,
gav

Ok there's way too many photos so here's a few more of them.

How embarrassing?! Sure the chick I was trying to chat up was her mum or coach or something!!!

Do you remember these two? They didn't look impressed in this photo but they were very impressed soon after that!
