say by approx 9am?
one teensy little problem Gav, I only have room for my gear in the car  where will Chris sit :?:
apart from that a 9:00am start sounds good for me.
and I recon' we drive till about 6:00pm that should take us to about a place called Narooma. and thats about 95 kms from dstocks.

we will work something out. would it be OK for you to pick up my stuff on the Thursday night? then I can collect Chris. He could drop his kit of as well.

I have offered for joel to stay at our place on the Thursday as well, thats a shorter run for him on the Friday.

I spoke to Joel last night and he is thinking of joining us ( the old awesome foursome!).

Have all those coming from Victoria given any thought to sleeping arrangements. its take your own tents or swags :P
I will be taking my 2 man tent. Gav slept in his car last year.

Hey guys sorry haven't been on here much. Just been sorting out a lot of BS at work and just getting really run down.

Anyway put me down as a definite. I am trying to get my hands on a CB radio so we'll just decide what channel we'll use that morning. ;)

If you guys can get your hands on those it will make this trip a lot easier instead of having to pull over every couple of clicks when someone lags behind.

For those who went last year....can you give us a bit more info about the place? Is there power there....as it 240V sockets? Water supply....showers? All I've got is a map wtih directions. Is there a bbq?

So for all I got on my list is:

Sleeping bag
CB Radio
Booze

Not exactly my key essentials when going interstate or camping.....well maybe the booze is....

Yep Dwayne sent me a map via PM with directions and also mentioned we need to call about 20kms before we get there as there's no mobile phone coverage in that area.

Which is why I suggested get your hands on a CB or borrow one so that we can all pick a channel to speak on on that way and while there.

Whoops.......just read the message. We have to call 20 mins before getting there! Not necessarily 20kms.

my GPS took us straight to the place. also we will be stopping overnight about Narooma, leaves us a about 1 1/2 hours easy drive. Gav and I talked about going to a motel for the night.
last year we got all our BBQ stuff in Batemans Bay at super market.
my list is - tent / sleeping bag / clothes / toothbrush etc.
Saturday breakfast at overnight stop, Sunday breakfast at dstocks.
Saturday lunch maybe back to Batemans bay, its not far.
Dwayne has a house there, but not power where we camp, so you need a torch. Nacho, you can plug your hair dryer in the car  .
we are meeting @ Rowville maccas at 10:00am, not sure how long to get to Traralogon to meet "chalice".
nacho - it should only take you 1 hour to my place from Richmond :? .
CYA all Friday
