yep 2.5 from headers back. my guy welded the orignal flange on my new Cat so when I get new headers they'll bolt straight on. Good luck today, I think the Varex Cannon Muffler is cheaper by about $50.

OK GET THIS i just came back from the exhaust shop and got a quote and i pissed myself laughing.
Ok here it is
3 inch manderel bent exhaust cat back in mild steel
1750 bucks hahhhahaha
the varex muffler was the single cannon and they wanted 780 for it and they dont have the dual 3 inch tips. i cant believe the rip off people in this world.
So alekazam when i get the money do you reckon you could send me one up but it might have to have 3 inch inlet and 3 inch tips.

I can't help you with where to go, as of course I am in NZ, but have you tried the smaller exhaust shops? Or just workshops in general?

I got my 3" exhaust and full intake piping and intercooler piping mandrel bent for $1200 NZD. Shop around, and don't goto the big chain stores.

That actually looks really mint... I am starting to think about just keeping all factory parts and do minor mods like that (as in twin exhaust exits etc)...

Not sure on the legality here, but in Aus, what is the deal if you want your exhaust exiting from a side skirt before the rear wheel? Touring car styles...

The exit has to be minimum 1 metre from the nearest opening window..

update I had an 18 " resonator fited upstream as it was just to loud. But as a bonus its giving me more low to midrange power and a quicker 0 to 60 time so here is a drive by vid of my last drive with that bad boy sound..
