Ehh it's always been the way.. Especially in the 90's the Korean car industry was getting 'hand me down' tech and hardware from the japs. Just like the whole bunch of 90's Hyundai cars running older mitsu engines rebadged.

Have u seen the type 3 as a 4 door? Not released in australia but it looks but better, check it out if you havn't seen it yet
