Definetly cannot make it the following weekend as I'll be in Victoria.
What I don't understand is how a weekend that was voted as the best weekend for a cruise is suddenly in dispute.
Come on guys....if we set a date we need to stick to it, I can gaurantee that for every person that cannot make it to the original cruise date there will be someone that cannot make it to the following weekend ^^

^^ I understand what your saying. I have an exam on Monday that I have to study for thats why I am happy to postpone.

For those members that are still meeting up. Whats the plan? (the Gold Coast or some more central for those still going)

Man thats life mate, sometimes more important things pop up at short notice.
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Don't get me wrong......I understand that sh*t happens, I organised to start my holidays as from tomorrow so I could go on this cruise, then still ended up having to work a half day.
Didn't mean to sound like I was pointing the finger either, I was more just stating a fact.
Anyway........If anyone is up for an afternoon cruise?

I think somewhere more central makes sense.....do the Gold Coast cruise when Simon can come.

I think we should just make it something local & save the GC cruise for when we have it organised better..

So here's the plan;

Late afternoon cruise - I think meet up 3:00-3:30pm (to wait for people) at Milton McDonalds;

http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=q&sour ... 00957&z=17

Then -> Cruise down Milton Rd towards Bardon .. head up Mt Cootha .. stop at the top for a while .. try & find somewhere to take a few pics etc..

We can decide what to do after that later...

If anyone has any other suggestions post them up..

My number is 0401 720 352 if anyone needs to call

I'll SMS everyone who has shown interest in this if their number is on the Database thread..

Okay, just sent out SMS's out 30+ in total, so hopefully we will see a few more people coming along..

Any new members - if you haven't added your details to the Member database thread & you want to be notified of future cruises, please remember to post your details there.

^^another 6A13 conversion. :)

I decided that I will be going on the cruise today. I have been racking my brain all morning studying and come to the conclusion that failure is inevitable :lol: No not really, I just need a break and would be good catching up with everyone again.

For a last minute cruise, it turned out to be an awesome day..

Thanks everyone for turning up .. had heaps of fun in the twisties .. esp with my girl squealing the whole way when my driving got a bit too spirited :P lol

For those that didn't make it .. you suck! lol .. nah jk .. we'll just have to try & organise the next cruise a bit better .. having more than a few hours notice would be good too..

Cruise started at Macca's, then up Mt Cootha .. took a few pics .. then back down the mountain & to Mt Nebo .. a couple of us missed the turn off to go down the mountain :oops: & ended up half way around Mt Glorious .. luckily the reset of the guys waited for us until we turned around & got back on track.

Ran over a snake & almost a few cyclists along the way back to civilisation .. & ended the cruise at New Farm near the Story Bridge .. would make an awesome Photoshoot spot, so we'll have to go down there next time when we have a better camera with us..

Good luck replacing your belts Jamie.. lucky you didn't have any major dramas while we were up in the mountains..
:)
