Has anyone ever looked into Eclipse kits for an FTO?

Post by FTEvolution »

I was just surfing the net, as you do when you are first at work.

I found pics of Eclipses, specifically this one.

Now I know that the kit isn't particularly nice, and the front looks like a VS style. But that isn't my point, have a look at the profile of the Eclipse, specifically the guards and length of the wheel base...

Has anyone done any research into the dimensions? Or perhaps imported some parts and had them modified to fit? Any luck? Any issues? Too much hard work?

EDIT1:

I like this front bar...

the last replica eclipse i saw for sale looked attrocious and anything but what the eclipse is.

the newer eclipse would be more closer to the fto shape than the previous older shape.

ewww, i don't like that front bumper.. it ruins the eclipse.. it's way too evo-ish :spew:

though if evo's looked like that I would buy one in a second.. & then change the front bummper.. ;)
