HKSFTO - Vic --- SOLD!
HI all
Well I’ll spare you 12 months worth of personal highs and lows and cut straight to the bit were I’m selling HKSFTO. (That’s a turbo 96 GPX for those who aren’t familiar) Of that 12 months it spent the first 7 in a garage and the remainder being used…. Well pretty darn infrequently. Really I should have sold it along time ago, but it’s a sign of how freaking awesome it is that I just couldn’t let go.
The bad news
She’s currently unregistered. Really unregistered.
The not great news.
Needs new brake pads and pod filter
New belt tension-pulley bearing as current one gets unhappy if it gets too hot.
Altezza tail lights need to be re-sealed.
A couple of very minor scuff marks, front and rear bumpers.
The good news
Umm…err…everything else.
Engine is in top shape.
Turbo package is humming running strong at max 7psi.
Pioneer/Clarion sound system, boost controller and injector controller are all sweet as
The Racaro tomcats still hug you tighter than ya momma.
The HKS exhaust…..I’ve run out of superlatives
Too many other mods to mention here.
Stuff recently replaced, well recently in terms of kilometres travelled
Oil Lines
Alternator (full re-conditioned and I have an older spare)
Top end of the exhaust (inc down pipes)
Bridgestone Eagle 1’s all round….I think they’ve done less than a 1000k’s
I think I paid >$20k for her all those many years ago. Seems like several lifetimes actually. Obviously now she’s priced to sell. It’s probably going to take someone $3k-$4k to get her fully back on the road.
Current asking price is $8k.
If you want more details or pics, just search the forums.
Hope I can find her a good home.

Anyway, good luck with the sale! Pics would be nice =p

Sounds sweet. Minor scuff marks and a few other minor things..to get an extremely good FTO for 8k?
*hyperventilates*
How noticeable is the fact that it's turbo? is it a sleeper, as in, sound wise?

she's anything but a sleeper - lowered, polished versions of the standard mags - a spine tingling burble while idling, and the banshee scream and a white blur on the horizon when the loud pedal's depressed, vainishing with a mixture of road dust, unburned fuel and a properly tuned turbo setup.
the HKS badges and plates are a bit of a give away too.
not rice, just very damn nice!
I was going to say "say it ain't so" but when it's time to part ways with your baby ....
(kinda glad I got selfish and kept mine though...)
